Pros

Went online to the hayward website. Perfect replacement for my old motor. I am very pleased with this motor how quiet it is. Brand new, quiet and efficient.

Cons

The motor works but it screams! Century tells me it’s a hayward issue. The motor sounds like it will be exploding at anytime.

Bcp was bootleg or fraudulent. No warranty possible.

I started looking online at local pool supply stores and most of them sold the pump in conjunction with the basket filter housing.

I am very pleased with this motor how quiet it is.

I almost just keep it because it had nothing to do with the motor it self.

Mine did come with the “slinger” (rubber washer) on the shaft.
