Best redesign of a useful product yet. Easy to install, well worth the money. Clean, efficient, stylish and easy to set up. Great value for money. Best amp yet.

The old de filter was a nightmare, i wish i had swapped to this a long time ago. Easier to use than my previous setup and filter lasts forever between cleanings. Much, much better filter than my old hayward stainless de filter.

I'm having my system revised to get rid of the * hayward brand! Called hayward, no warranty coverage.

Super easy installation, and works great so far.
Very well designed easy to install, easy to clean filter, built like it should be
5” pvc, filter is hooked to a hayward chlorinater and goes to the furthest return through 1.
Two pipes, no backflush valve, no diverter junk.
Price
Yes it was expensive but i went overkill and my state offers a $600 cash back for the pump.
My state offers a energy rebate making the cost of a new pump very cheap so i also got the hayward .

Competitiveness
Most things about this filter are easier and better than the de filter.
It just took longer for me to install since i went back to lowes like 5 times to get the right pvc elbows and joints.

I was facing issues with the de filter since cleaning it on the curb is against city rules

The alternative was to separate the de and dump the cleaned waste water to sewer the former being necessary because de can clog your sewer lines

The separator is not cheap and the whole thing would have been a huge plumbing project
