I just got off the phone with hayward and i learned some information about the salt chlorination cells that would be helpful to buyers of replacement cells the hayward swimpure plus chlorination system and the aquarite chlorination system are the same systems its only the name of the system painted on the panel thats different

The hayward representative told me that one of the large distributors of the hayward chlorination systems i think he said leslies pool supply asked hayward to give the chlorination system a unique name so that only their product would have that unique name

I asked the pool supply company who i regally took water samples to and who sold and installed hayward products but they couldnt give me a definitive answer suggesting that i run it until it quits

I had to eventually increased the output to 100

Then two months ago it quit producing chlorine and continued showing an inaccurate low salt level

Hopefully the cell will continue to work normally since from what i have read hayward warranty service is dismal at best

I had my salt cell go bad after 2 years amazon seller would not refund even though it said on the site 3 year warranty
