It is for 25,000 gallon pool. As soon as we got this filter that specifie its maximum is 43,000 gal pool and installed it. I have a 27 foot round pool which now stays crystal clear.
This is a great setup, small, easy to install and use, my pool is crystal clear.
Cons
The filter claims to filter particles below 10 microns. The directions made it sound as easy as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich -- you just lift the filter out. The filter is expensive and seems to clog fast in our pool.
The lid has one of the flanges cracked. Tried teflon tape covered with pipe dope. Now i have to buy a stainless steel rod or shrink rap this one.

It is so easy comparing to the de filter.
I purchased the w3c17502 to replace a very old hayward c900.
Although it has slightly less filter surface the c1750 fit into the same position as the c1900 with no piping modifications.

I used teflon tape and had to reinstall again the typical teflon tape from the hardware store

When that didnt seal properly i read about blue monster teflon tape and sealant
