Price
I got sticker shock on the price of pool heat pumps.
Shipping
Been using it for 2 months now and it is fast and efficient.
Competitiveness
It's been working great for over a year and can heat my 13k gallon pool up to 90 degrees easily overnight!
It required a 50amp circuit so i had hire an electrician to install that (about $450).
I installed a disconnect panel next to the unit and ran a pre-wired 8/2 wire to the unit from a 40amp breaker.

Hayward as a company needs alot of improvement on how to back their product you are directed to a local dealer in your area for any issues and its like pulling teeth for someone to look at an issue without complaining or trying to charge you to look at it under warranty and would refund when hayward refunds them

We live in western pa north of pittsburgh and although we have only had this heat pump a short time it works awesome for our 25000 gallon pool it barely runs its 4x as efficient as a gas heater and it heated our pool 10 degrees in less then 12 hrs

When first starting the pump had issues with fault codes but were easily resolved by back washing the filter
