Pros

I advise removing the propeller after use so it doesn't become warped. Much quieter also. Quiet and easy to remove leaf trap to clean.

Arrived via fedex a few days after ordering. Easy to install. I hope it lasts longer.

Cons

Hayward was once a top line company, it now sells cheap junk you would expect from a discount warehouse type junk store. Don't waste your money on this. Buy at your own risk.

Hayward dealership says to contact someone else. I contacted the seller but haven’t got a response. Purchased a new one, locked up today 6-9-22.

Quality of this pump is very bad. This pump proves otherwise. The hayward also has more corrosion on it after 2 years than the previous one had after 12 years.

Did not show up next day the 2nd day no show and got the message it was delayed and now within 5 days.

Also the see threw buble seems like it is weak compared to the strong plastic outer lock the other brand pumps have.

I bought this bc my previous, different brand, went out.
