Install is simple (under 5 minutes) works perfectly except for one issue. It should be included with the install instructions. If it fails, they'll give you a new one right off the shelf.

Cons

It's only 3 years old. Hayward says this has a 3 year warranty. This is a very expensive item so i recommend anyone needing one to look for another company that will honor the three-year warranty.

Store says the same thing, cant replace a cell thats passed the tes. I order a knockoff to replace this one, so i’ll see how it does. Will buy a circupool® cir-gen15 or optimum pool technologies simple cell replacement salt cell up to 40,000 gallon.

Mine failed at around 2 years and when i went to the hayward website it states 3 year warranty on salt cells

It only lasted a year before its untimely demise

Properly sizing the cell to the pool capacity saved me around 300

This hayward salt cell is exactly like the one we had and at a great price

About 500 more than ive paid in the past but that seems to be what theyre getting away with these days

I get supply and demand but i also get doing the right thing and this pricing is truly out of control

You can go with another hayward or one many cheaper aftermarket versions
