Works as intended, noticeably less lag when playing super smash bros 4. Used it for smash bros. For wii u and was able to download a large game in about 1 hr. Splatoon is playable at last.

Ignore the one guy leaving the one star review because it didnt work on his wii that happened cause the wiis servers all got shut down

Pretty sure its working better than the wifi hasnt really been any problems since but i cant seem to find a way to check whether the wii u is using the ethernet adapter or just the wifi i can only guess

Uses peertopeer networking so the connection also depends on your opponents internet speeds

I had to buy this product cause the engineers at nintendo are too lazy to incorporate an external ethernet port for the wii u

Ideally the wii should have had an ethernet port by default but this product addresses the design fault and allows me to use the wii for video streaming without ever having to bother with loading times
