Because it is a driverless which could be considered a sellingfeature to most users it cannot copy custom formats of disc images form prewindows systems but aside from that it is a good solution for using a nowobsolete storage medium man you know youre getting old when somthing as recent as 3

Like most similar products this drive has no separate power supply so the juice to spin the motor must all come from the usb port itself

As with many other usb devices that are not selfpowered it should be plugged directly into a motherboardmounted port

Final note the drive appears to recognize 720k diskettes and may be able to read them not tested but it cannot format that size not even from the command line using the t80 and n9 parameters and using genuine 720k diskettes
