I have often asked how they arrive at their lumens number, since over the course of time, i have received devices that have lower lumen rating that seem brighter than other devices with higher lumen ratings and vice-versai immediately discovered that in order to achieve similar results to the lumens claims of manufacturers, i have to place the flashlight at about 5 to 6 inches from the luxmeter.  Read Less
