Pros
Using for an older apple cinema display. Was able to use my newer laptop with my old monitor. Plug and play, so it works as expected.
Cons
This hdmi to dvi cable is probably of good quality, but it didn't work for us.

The cable works fine at 1080p/60, and is well built, so i'm going to give it the full 5 stars.
Hdmi male to dvi female cables used with a raspberry pi 3b and 3b+ and an old touchscreen monitor that lacks hdmi (dvi-d only).
7k out of dual-link dvi-d, you are supposed to use a dual single-link into a dual-link adapter cable (which this is not).
Price
The adapter was a bit on the pricey side, hence the four stars.

However my laptop can only duplicate the screen on the monitor and doesnt recognize it as a second monitor
