Box is set to copy edid from tv and output 2 is set to downscale to 1080p and output to the sync box.

Competitiveness

I reset the apple tv to output 1080p sdr, but that didn't make a difference.

You then send a120 hd signal to the phillips and the sync works.

I can barely tell the difference between 4k and 1080p, aside from the wonder of hdr.
