First was just a passive device and loaded down the input so much the tv wouldn’t work

Well it was a bit annoying to have to plug the splitter into a power point plus it didnt come with the hdmi cable needed to attach it to my computers hdmi port but hdmi cables arent exactly hard to come by and everything went fine after that

There is a very slight drop in picture quality but is not very noticable when using recording software

If you have an hdmi out that you want to send to two inputs then this will work for that
