My desktop computer has a microphone port and headphone port but the headsets with 4 rings on the jack wouldnt give any microphone input through the headphone port

I also tried a usb sound card with a 4 ring headset port on it but the same exact headsets microphone was significantly quieter on that even turned up to 100 in the settings setup

Previous setups like wireless headset and usb wired headset dropped audio while on a skype call

It wont interfere if you use the plug that comes with the adapter

Works but remote signal only goes out one of the 2 at a time
