It is very sturdy, in fact if i have a criticism, it is that the shade is so sturdy, i sometimes find it difficult to roll back up to store.
Cons

These are quality shades and worth spending more than the cheap ones.
If you need to store it while driving, just take the time and effort to roll if up, fasten with the velcro sash and put it in the back.
The rolled up shade is ratty long, but that is expected with the size of the rav 4 windshield.

However i am noticing that on my previous heat shield and now on this heat shield there seems to be a year written in pen on the inside of the bottom left corner
