The scent is pleasant, not overpowering. The added scent makes these my favorite! Like the feel and the scent. I especially love the lavender smell -it's pleasant without it being overbearing.

Overall, i like these bags inasmuch as one can have fondness for a little kitchen garbage bag. The extensions on the sides allow them to be * easily, which is far more important than the baking soda and scent.

Cons

These are not as strong or thick as the cheap generic brand bags. Also the scent smells really weird. Not good quality.
