Pros

These 39 gallon bags stretch over the lip of a 32gal container and, once filled, are closable using its drawstring. The photo shows ten filled bags on our patio bench.

The hefty strong lawn & leaf trash bags are an excellent choice for lawn care enthusiasts. I have a ton (no exaggeration) of leaves and pine straw for our local sanitation service to haul away.

Cons

The material of the bag itself has changed (went from a matte finish bag to glossy) these are not heavy duty and tear easily. These bags are not any thicker than the garbage can bags.

The product is so badly labeled. Extremely misleading. Hefty brands needs to rethink this product. It is not “hefty heft hefty” as they like to portray.

The bags are scented. Now you have to separate them at the perforations and struggle to get them to open. Nothing in the description says they are scents. Just a repulsive lingering, unnecessary perfumed smell.
