Pros

Breathable because of the looser mesh-like weave above the hat band. Comes with a cord for wind which is very useful around beach and seaside.

Brim is wide enough to really help keep the sun off. The brim is firm so it doesn't flop down in front of your eyes. Works well, keeps head cool and protects from sun.

The crown is airy and allows plenty of airflow. Runs a little lg.

Cons

The hat is described as crushable. Gave me a headache. The wrinkles in the forehead area are significant.

Overall i like the hat and plan on keeping it, but it was smashed in shipping.

I have ordered from others and the hat was creased during shipping.

I tried three times and on the third time resigned to the fact that the top would be deformed from shipping.

This delivery, size, and packaging were perfect.

This is my second one, first one flew overboard and sank in the prop wash before i could retrieve it.
