I have not seen a difference in training with this collar so it does work the same as the regular prong collar

I have a service dog in training and have some issues with dexterity in my left hand which made putting on and off a prong collar challenging

I needed something a little easier for removal and putting on to transport my dog out of doggie day care every day as hes gotten barky when leaving in the afternoons and i can give him a quick correction with it but i didnt want the daycare workers to have to hassle with squeezing the prongs to get the collar on and off

The quick release clasp was necessary because of hand problems and i couldnt release the links on the other model of this collar
