I am very pleased with the service i got from madison seating with this order - not to mention the money saved.
It is of high quality so no problems with the actual product.
This thing costs so much that i think you would have to come with the motor in order to get five stars.
Price
The price was so good i thought it was going to be used.
I was expecting perfection for this price.
Shipping
On the other hand, the box could have used more packing material to secure the chair in shipping.
Packaging/appearance
I also liked that assembly was fairly simple and that most parts were already assembled prior to them packaging it.
Competitiveness
Its a wonderful chair but for the price one can easily get 2 not much inferior items from a competition.
Oh, no headrest - had to get it as a 3rd party add-on.

Trying to pry it out felt like i would break the plastic fitting so i did not proceed with that

I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because the arms do not allow sliding them forward which can add a little more exactness for positioning

Not all sellers are authorized distributors

If they are not an authorized distributor as per herman miller you will not be eligible for the 12 year warranty via herman miller

When i purchased this chair it was being sold by maddison seating and made no mention of the fact that they were not an authorised seller till i made them admit it

The offered a 10 year warranty that if you read the fine print did not warranty the fabric or the wheels or the legs or the hydraulics or the arms or the levers basically it warenteed nothing

There reply to this was that herman miller chairs are so good that if something breaks it must be the users fault hence all the exceptions

We got the manager of madison three way call recorded by amazon to agree to refund 250 as there advertisement here at amazon made no mention of the fact that these were assembled from parts that maddison seating purchased and they made no mention that they were not an authorized distributor of herman miller
