It arrives preassembled. Assembly is insert the back and use the provided hex wrench.

There are other ergonomically correct chairs out there, in leather and faux leather, with a cushy seat for the * that are by far more comfortable. My other complaint is how needlessly heavy this chair is.

The controls are sticky as though a total slob used it. It is very hard to tighten with just your fingers. The wheel is bent and the tilt controls don't work.

The seat is so short that it literally cuts off my circulation mid-thigh. This is neither comfortable in the forward or backtilted position. The sides of the seat curve up and are trimmed with hard plastic.

The one i was shipped has some stains on the seat and loose arms indicative of significant previous use. The underside was scratched, gouged, and even sheared. The textured material is so stiff it feels like sitting on a bed of nails.

The customer service promptly reached out to me and fixed the issue with the chair i purchased.

The seller is fast and the chair is awesome.

They wanted to confirm that they received the order correctly and called me on a sunday to confirm!

It arrived with only 3 of 5 casters.

Packaging/appearance

My chair showed up early, packaged in a thick box, no damage, not even a scratch.

Chair arrived in excellent condition, well-packaged and super easy to assemble (took me 5 minutes).

There was one single box that didn’t get badly damaged.

Sadly, there isn’t much protection inside the box, so it gets pretty beat up in transit.
