Pros & Cons
Pros
Not a scuff on it. Fits any *classic* aeron. It performs like it should be. It's a wonderful upgrade well worth the price.
The aeron is still the best choice for me when it comes to my office. It's pricy, but when you think that you spend so many hours sitting, it's a worthwhile investment. The posture fit and the headrest are must-have items for this great chair.
It works to strengthen your lumbar and straighten your spine by forcing the pelvis forward. It supports the sacro area and counteracts the feeling of falling back into a hole.
The wire is blunt tipped and is never in danger of damaging the chair. The clip rolls around the back of the seat pan, from the top, straddling the cable, and clips into place.
Cons
Installation is relatively easy, but the need to punch a hole through the fabric as well as the installation of the control unit feel like an afterthought. The screw for the clip at the back of the device is too long and doesn't screw in all the way. ... Read More
The control knob only adjusts support for the lower spine/pelvic area. The lumbar pad itself is nonadjustable, neither up/down nor forward/back. This support is very low and more towards the lower sacral region.
Highlights

Installation is not hard, but made more difficult due to these issues with the instructions.
For my money, i'd opt for the headrest over the support kit and stick with the standard lumbar bar.
Shipping
With that being said, i give this product a rating of 5/5 because they let me return it for a full refund and i don't even have... Read More
Competitiveness
I just wish replacement parts for these chairs weren't so expensive.
Several recent high-end chairs are built this way today, though still generalize it as lumbar support since it's a key phrase t... Read More
