This is a purpose built ergonomic work chair that will benefit your posture and back health. It's super flexible and adjustable. The herman miller embody chair is an unparalleled choice for ergonomic seating.

Took like 15 seconds and probably is a result of poor handling during shipping but otherwise, arrived in fine shape. Don't misunderstand. It is well worth the money paid! Worth every penny.

The discomfort i feel feels as though it's from my lumbar vertebrae gently shifting into proper alignment. My lower back pain is now non-existent and can sit for hours without it hurting.

Cons

The back of this chair barely makes it half way up my shoulder blades. The lumbar support is far too low and feels like its constantly punching you off of the overly short and not well enough inclined seat.

There is no way this chair comes anywhere close to justifying its cost. I haven't been able to fully assemble the chair. This is a very heavy chair -- 65 pounds -- to be returning, and that combined with the cost of returning it, is why it is not in o... Read More

Overall a frustrating experience and the return process is also inconvenient since this is such a large item. Exchanged it, same thing. My estimate of what it should cost is <$130.

The cushion area is a more extreme version of the back-- it's made up of a ton of cells that are around a square inch apiece.

This chair for me--5'10", 210lbs--feels like it was built for my body specifically, with almost no adjustment.

Price

$1200 is a lot of money, and a lot more than i would expect to spend on a piece of office furniture.

The real issue is that the price is so high.
