Pros

The fabric mesh cushion is nice an firm. A very comfortable chair, and different enough not to look officy in my rather retro office. Comfort is about a 9/10, though i doubt any office chair could be a 10/10.

The backrest feels like a very stiff hammock - a hammock for my back - and it's glorious. The narrow back allows you to stretch your shoulders regularly.

Compared to the rest of the herman miller lineup, this chair is a bargain. This chair is priceless -- worth every penny.

The back isn't tall, but there are a number of options (somewhat pricy) that allow extra configuration. I am 5'11 and i find that it provides me with plenty of back support and moving area for my arms, so that i am not readjusting constantly.

Cons

The seat padding is thin and hard. The curve of the back hits way too low to provide any lumbar support. The padding on the seat is surprisingly thin, and it doesn't hold up over time.

The arm rests feel cheap, wriggle around a lot, and have foam pads prone to tearing in the first 6 months of use. Adjustable arm height knob is too difficult to push. It is not adjustable, tears * off of every piece of clothing in a ten foot radius.

After looking for a good ergonomic chair for a few months, i wanted to say how happy i am with the sayl chair.

After being disappointed with the aeron experience i found great reviews on the sayl, so i tried it out.

I like the quality of the product, but unfortunately founded much better price in a couple of days.
