I received mine new in sealed box with only one side working.
Obviously the manufacturer didn't test these between manufacturing and packaging.

This headphone may surprise you or be underwhelming if you are coming from a pair of colored fun cans like audiotechnicas m4050xs due to the fact they honestly require some power

I have a v35 and the relatively low impedance on this pair of headphones will not trigger the high impedance mode and the phones 75 its max sounds to me like 33ish on the m50xs

Note it is an open back design not closed so youll hear your wife calling for you or anything else going on around you
