I had to gently sand the cut out areas and soften the edges so they would not catch on my nylon tops

Nowadays it is common to use plastic hangers for ones clothes however besides that they are cheap they have no advantage at all

Plastic hangers do not offer support likes wooden ones and they can actually ruin more heavy clothes like coats or jackets
