Where i had the projector the hdmi was plugged into made the hdmi chord have a slight bend to it and over the course of 6 months the metal tip broke off but i am mostly sure that was user error and not the product

Turns out it was a weird glitchy conflict with an old driver windows kept installing over the new one

Sometimes they would work other times i get told by the software my system is not hdcp compliant
