Pros
The elastic keeps the sleeve from riding down your hand and getting in the way of your work. The only drawback is the flimsy hood.
It is lightweight, warm and comfy. Very soft & warm.
Quality stitching and a hefty zipper. It has lots of pockets and is roomy.
This is the warmest coat i've ever owned. For a warm coat, it isn't very bulky. A little bulky so not to comfortable to sit down while wearing coat but overall nice. The reflective lining keeps you warm and dry in winter weather.
Cons
The jacket is warm but it is falling apart after two washes it on gentle cycle. It stains easily and permanently. Customer service at maker is horrible. Spend a little more and get a higher quality coat.

Very well made and i love this jacket.
Well made, good pockets, size is true.
Sadly after just 2 years of use the zipper ripped out :(
The coat has gathered elastic at the wrists and velcro closing straps at the wrist.
Price
The cost is great also, so even if he wears them out and needs 2 a year, they will be worth it.

We had him open the package as soon as it came.

All in all it’s not an everyday go to coat for me but when it’s cold dark and i’ve got snow removal to do it’s my go to

He is a freight conductor and sometimes has to ride the outside of rail cars for miles

As far as water resistantance goes you will keep dry in light rain but the outer shell will absorb water and things in your pockets will get wet so i dont recommend this as a rain jacket

I sprayed the your shell with greased lightning but couldnt get all the dirt out and it was only after two weeks of wear

The sizing is inaccurate i ordered a large according to the specifications that were given to me on the website or i should say by the manufacturer and they’re not correct a large i was swimming in so i had to reorder a medium
