The drive caddy worked great with no problems and i was even able to resale it for $10 more then what i paid for it.
Save yourself the trouble and just order an external dvd burner for a couple more bucks.

I ended up not using that particular screw instead of forcing it and possible stripping the thread on the hard drive itself
