Pros
The pockets each securely fit a 20 ounce blender bottle. There fold up very small to toss into your luggage and provide quite a bit of storage room.
Cons
This backpack is very thin and very small. It's small and compressible, but not very durable. Try the 25l ultralight bag from the friendly swede instead. The mesh pocket on the side are very cheap.
The backpack flops over when set down. It's not that durable. The backpack is now busted.

The bag is pretty formless itself and thus pretty easy to stuff into unusual spots if you also lack good touch down space but it definitely will not protect your back from oddly shaped contents
