Pros
Fulfilled my needs. As advertised with no issues. Highly recommend product and vendor.
These are everlight pt334-6c photo transistors. They can be mounted in an enclosure using 5mm leds. They are sensitive to a wide range of wavelengths from infrared to ultraviolet.
Cons
These should be called infrared phototransistors.

Would have been nice to have a datasheet but i just messed around with different values of resistors in a voltage divider until it worked well

Be aware the collector is the short lead located on the notched side of the package

The emitter is the longer lead

Due to the clear package this transistor is sensitive to all light but is heavily biased to nearir frequencies so a filter hood or tube is required
