The rc522 chips are poorly soldered with some possible bridges. V and gnd fails to bring anything to life. The oscillator runs on two of the three.

All three cards and all three key fobs scanned with no issues.

You will brick the card with no recovery.

All the cards and fobs worked and the header pins were delivered not bent.

For $10, it was a great value.

I liked these since the price was good, and the range for the card reader and rfid chip were good for what i needed.

Competitiveness

I tried a lot of rc522 pcbs on amazon but these are the only one with original chip.

I've bought a few before from a different seller and they weren't as good.
