Qrp labs ultimate 3s is a great value for the price. My only gripe is that the chip itself is capable of handling more than just one pair of signals and it would be great if there were available pads on the pcb to access those too. The usb also has a ... Read More

Only one board has a max3232, specified for 3v to 5v operation. All of the max3232 chips overheated (untouchable without getting burned) were not factory programmed.

I've purchased and used a number of hiletgo products and have enjoyed the product quality and consistency, these modules included.

3v out, which did not make it hot, but resulted in an unreliable transmission and was useless for a serial terminal.

Then i got brave and removed the 4 smt resistors on the display and re-soldered them on the ttl line.

Price

I would not be able to purchase the parts to make this myself for the price!
