I havent tested this by screwing it into drywall and hanging a shelf and adding weight until it fails so i dont know if it really lives up to its 50lb in drywall claim although it might or might not

Ive only used it on shelving and tested the brackets by trying to wobble them by hand so my testing is far from scientific on this

You don’t have to go through the trouble of finding the right anchor for your drywall to then bust an unnecessary hole for the original screw to not work anymore

Make sure the thread is the correct size before buying because it may or may not be the right diameter for your project

Do not drill a pilot hole because it will be too loose

Consider coating threads with wood glue and allowing it to dry before hanging to keep it from loosening
