Strap is a little short only like 34 i i got a retractable dog 16 one that works great and fits inside backback when not in use

Very cute design and well made the only downfall is that the straps rub a little bit on the sides of his neck but i just made sure that he had a shirt that comes up a little higher on his neck also these only work as well as the child is willing to cooperate with it on otherwise you look like youre getting pulled around by a pitbull🤣or if theyre not keeping up it seems odd to yank on the leash seeming like youre dragging them along

Overall it will serve its purpose for us i plan on using this under a life jacket when we go on a boat just to have the extra security to keep him close since he doesnt want to be held
