For an indoor clock in the typical heated and air conditioned home or office i dont really know what useful purpose that serves but for an outdoor clock that could be quite interesting

The disadvantage to this particular clock is that the display only remains illuminated for a very short time perhaps 10 seconds before turning back off

If you want to see the time or any other information you have to press the lightsnooze button on top which requires a bit of a press until it clicks and not a light touch

Im deducting one half star for this aspect of the display since i believe it makes the clock a bit less likely to be compatible with what most people will be looking for

Nothing is said either on this amazon page or in the product packaging or instructions regarding warranty for this clock

If i find that this clock does not prove to be reliable or durable or if it develops any problems over time or if i think of any other points worth mentioning here i will return and update this review accordingly
