Pros

The humidifier works well. It removes moisture very effectively. Lowers the humidity in my basement suite from 60% to 40% in a short time.

A bit of krazy glue and its good to go again. Works great. Only small blemish on top.

Cons

New digital models have a delicate receptacle instead of a sturdy bucket. The grill that the dried air blows out of is a fraction of the size of the older model's grill. Very very noisy machine.

We already had a hense dehumidifier so this one is working very efficiently in the garage

Very noisy even on low settings and through my noise-canceling headphones, but very powerful.

The person going to sleep there was sensitive to sound and the running of this unit was deemed unsuitable.

Price

I could have gotten a brand with a pump for this price.

I hope they go on sale again so i can buy another for my basement

Wish there’s a quieter model i could upgrade to even if it’d cost more.

I decided to try this unit, unfortunately i couldn't wait for the delivery, so went out and got one locally.

They replied within is very short period of time (under two hours).

Competitiveness

It is the only diffuser i have ever used so i cannot compare it to others, but it has done wonders for my usage case.
