There is no (working) setting to reopen the last used channel or application.
Every time i start, i have to click several times from the standard home screen to arrive at my last used application/channel.

Overall, i highly recommend getting this tv as it is great and affordable compared to other brands.
It signs us out of certain streaming apps more frequently than other tvs.
It does not compare to higher end tvs but is better than all others i have tried in this price bracket.
