The google interface is user-friendly, the picture quality is outstanding, and the sound is excellent. Has a little built in bass speaker and it gets plenty loud. The sound out of the box is way more than acceptable even at louder volumes.

Ran into a little shortcoming using the arc function. The off angle viewing isnt terrible. All the picture adjustments are what would be expected for the upper tier model.

Only complaint i have is the responsiveness of the google tv and menu can lag a bit sometimes which can be frustrating when i'm in an impatient mood but not a deal breaker. Google opsys seems to be fine and its pretty fast to scroll through the menu.

Hisense refuses to give me a refund. Tv has been serviced once already. I'm still under warranty but the customer service is doing everything in their power to prevent sending me a new tv or refunding me.

Google functionality is inconsistent. The sheer inconvenience of this process is mind-boggling. It's infuriating and makes it impossible to see if what you’re doing is making a difference.

You have to make it so bright that the detail is obscured by light. Don't be lured by the pretty picture. The picture is unacceptable, especially darker scenes.

It takes 15 presses of the button to go through settings, sound, sound output, and eventually un-mute the speakers. The navigation menus go incredibly slow if using any type of external speaker for the audio output. The pause/play button on the remote... Read More

Excellent 4k picture and great handling my ps5 gameplay.

Turns out tvs have advanced a lot in 10 years, works great and the higher refresh rate is nice.

The sound out of the box is way more than acceptable even at louder volumes!

I thought the u7 and u8 trded blows with pic quality.

For the money, this tv is perfect.

This tv has a great picture for the price.

I really have no idea what tvs that cost an extra 1k can bring that this one doesn't.

The look great but i hooked up a 4k 60hz roku box and use those apps on it.

Competitiveness

After extensive research, i chose hisense over my usual preferences of sony or samsung, and i'm astounded by the picture and colors.

I had a samsung q70a and this tv is by far better than the samsung.

If you are looking at the u8k or other competitors, you wont be disappointed with this and save hundreds of dollars.

I'd suggest putting a few more dollars aside and going for a better model or better brand.
