Pros
The built mic has a hardware switch you can turn off. The tenor is good too with the amazon and youtube direct *.
Until hisense updates it there won't be a better television under $1000. Setting up over-the-air tv channels is an ordeal and totally unpredictable. If you want just beyond your basic television this is the tv for your.
Cons
It is not sharp - and faces (complexions / tones etc. Are fuzzy. Has a huge glowing halo problem. Local dimming is sketchy.
After four days, i have to do a soft reset because the tv does not respond to the remote control. They really need to update tv firmware. Secondly the computer in this tv is under powered. Gb of ram sounds great until you realize the tv needs 1.
The qa on the panel is notoriously bad, and our panel is one of those with massive uniformity issues. The tv is alright but if you value customer service, hisense canada is not the brand!
There are horizontal lines on the screen that are visible on grey areas. The screen start blinking after 2 week use! Had tv for about two months and noticed some dead pixels.

We were shopping for a 65 inch tv for the basement living room and this was rated as the best budget tv at ratings.
I have been looking, watching reviews and comparing for a while and this tv is comparable to $2000 sony and samsung tvs.
You would be hard pressed to find a tv anywhere near this price point for the size and quality from another brand.
