For $1000cad, this is a fantastic choice.

Ok its not sony or lg but this tv for the price is a top buy !

For reference, i last purchased a television in 2019: a discount tcl 55s425 for <$400.

At that price range it should be bluetooth at minimum 2g or 5g would be nice.

It's like a black mirror, especially compared to my old tcl which had a more matte finish.

After watching tons of videos, reading forums and review sites, i was split between the tcl qm8 and the hisense u88km (u8k).

You will be spending double to get the same features on other brands.
