Pros

The picture is extremely bright and vivid on hdr and sports. The * are stunning, and this coming from someone who didn’t really notice that before. Glare is very well controlled, and thebrightness gets very bright.

For the money this is the most amazing tv i’ve ever owed and i love it. I am glad i waited as the prices have dropped. It is most satisfying & the right tv to buy.

The colors and brightness of the hisense blow the doors off the old tv. The youtube app works great, and my wide has occasionally used some of the built in apps with no issue.

Google tv interface is fast and built in airplay works great when screen mirroring from our iphone, macbooks etc. Upscaling of our switch is too. It is either optimized for games or optimized for tv/movies.

Customer service was very attentive.

Cons

Hisense lied to me. Before my refund expires! They are dishonest and i will never purchase a product from them again.

Typical hisense unreliability. An infuriating tv. It is unusable.

Very good product at a reasonable price.

Spend a hundred bucks on a nice 2 speaker system and then toss a cheap subwoofer on it later.

Bottom line, for less than $1000 this is really fantastic buy.

Shipping

The delivery and setup by the amazon contracted company was excellent.

I just had a very long wait and difficult time ordering it through amazon.

Packaging/appearance

So, keep the box and all the packing materials (other than the plastic strips they have to cut).

Pro tip: i got free unpacking and assembly with this, where they also carry away the box for you.
