Upon purchasing i didn’t realize the tv had a subwoofer attached, i ended up not even using my old soundbar and sub.

As a plus, the 40 watts speakers and subwofer are quite an added value.

Packaging/appearance

The box had two very ominous penetrations, but all was well.

I think it came out of the box with warm color setting making whites looks red, but that was an easy fix.

Competitiveness

After researching and comparing several 55” tvs, the hisense u7 stands out as the top choice for its value.

First time using the google tv interface, it works as well as roku or firetv.

Sony tv buyer here, but didn't want to spend sony money this time around, compared to bravia 7.

I should say it is almost the best one compared with other brands in the same price range.

    This particular model is not in the list of hisense models shown by the directv model searcc so it had to do its best to find the right settings

    Saying that attaching a soundbar and switching from tv audio is not explained well nor is it intuitive switching between local antenna and streaming channels is harder than it should be and it takes several times for the automatic scan to pick up all available tv channels
