It has since improved with the latest firmware update, not massively but a slight improvement.
Lovely clear picture quality, excellent sound, response remote control.

Excellent product for the price, delivery excellent
Firstly, £400 is a terrific price for a 55 tv.
Competitiveness
I do use a soundbar with it optical connected but to be fair the tv speakers are really good as well.
Very good for every day viewing exellent pictures
Great product & value but get yourself a soundbar, ideally with a subwoofer etc.

Buyers beware tv had screen burn and white lines after 5 months amazon refuse to replace if it cant be repaired only offer a refund on price you paid even though they have these tvs in stock they say take refund and purchase again problem is the tv is now £100 more expensive and i have to pay it to get a replacement

Illegal under the sale of goods act not to offer a replacement and also breaking agreement with hisense to repair or replace hisense tvs with screen issues

There is a little bit of 60hz hum from this set only audible when in a totally quiet scene not a big issue the picture is fine nothing that would blow your mind and after a little tinkering in the advanced menu its passable for a bedroom but i would not use it for my main screen in my living area
