Pros & Cons
Pros
Picture sharp and gorgeous. The sound is fantastic and the picture matches it perfectly. Honestly, i usually tinker with the picture settings on every tv i have owned.
Local dimming works perfectly on this unit. It handles glare and reflections well even in daytime. The brightness is more than adequate for the average room.
Wireless streaming works flawlessly with my asus wireless ac router. Great for streaming full-bitrate 4k blu ray content. This is a big advantage over competitors such as tcl that struggle to get past 80mbps, which puts you in a land of buffering.
It has a composite cable input. I have it hooked up to a denon receiver, sony speakers on the floor, mono price speakers in the wall, a pioneer woofer and center channel.
It dwarfs the 55 inch television now relegated to my bedroom. There are none of the milky * that have annoyed me for years with my tcl roku television.
Cons
The overall picture quality is awful. Peak brightness is acceptable, but only if you leave motion compensation disabled. Android ui does not support this 4k tv, so the apps appear blurry.
They refuse to honor their warranty. It is hard to imagine why anybody in their right mind would buy this company's awful, unreliable garbage.
The panel has an extremely cheap look to it, so to me it should be priced accordingly. If you care at all about quality, and don't just want a tv for the size and a few novelty features that really don't justify the price since most every tv has those... Read More
Highlights
Quality
All in all i am very happy with the purchase and happily recommend it to you.
For the price, i am very pleased with the picture.
I was shocked at the quality of the tv for such a small amount of money.
Standing on an angle looking at the tv the picture quality is still good.
Price
Works amazing and has perfect quality, this is the best tv and the price was definitely right.
For the price, i highly recommend it.
My only complaint is i had to get an adaptor to run it through my audio system, but that was easily done and the cost was minimal.
But wanted to keep the price under $500.
Packaging/appearance
I wanted the picture to pop out of the screen.
I'm able to connect all three into it, and use earc on the 4 hdmi input into the soundbar.
Competitiveness
I recommend this to anyone looking for a tv.
The tv is smart enough that if i turn on a blu-ray player or roku it switches inputs.
I have 3 devices, and a soundbar.
