This tv is a great bang for your buck. I purchased on sale for $800, it rivals tvs two times the price. It crushes anything samsung, sony, or lg have below $1000.

Having full array local dimming versus edge lit is nice. Having no punchy contrast with no ‘greyed’ black (although it’s raised) is also great. Are black, colors are vivid and the brightness is bright.

Cons

The vizio u7g is defective right out of the box. The only help they can offer is to factory reset the tv or install a 1-year old firmware. If you do end up needing to take advantage of your warranty, hisense is not helpful.

Out of the box, color accuracy is very poor. If you try to adjust the tint to get rid of the green, then the picture has a strong purple tint. Hdr gaming is descent but not the best. Dolby vision is flat.

If you can fork out another $300 for a qled tv get it!

The tv has a mic for voice work and if that mic is turned off with a cheezy little switch on the tv an obnoxious light comes on.
