Pros

Upscaling of non-4k content is terrific. Great at upscaling 720p content (tall order for any tv), but great at 1080p content. Hdmi ports, 2 of which are 120khz for advanced gaming consoles. Arc port for audio out to a sound bar or stereo system.

With my apple tv connection it defaults to 60 rather than 120. I wish there was an easier way to enable/disable freesync. And then reconnect to wifi.

Home theatre system that visually, audibly and mentally transports me to the most pleasurable home entertainment level i've ever experienced.

This tv is watchable in even the worst of lighting conditions. Works equally as well in the darkest room at night for movie magic. There is noticeable led zoning bloom but it's not that bad.

It hardly feels like settling for less, in my humble but still somewhat discerning opinion. This tv performs well in every situation i put it in. Figuring things out just takes a little time.

There are over 4 dead zones on my tv that are glaringly obvious during darker scenes. incompetent and non-compliant. My only saying is confound and confuse others daily.

No changes are made on the sound bar and after exiting the ‘ settings’ page on the tv, the options return to their default settings. All the sound settings are reset if the tv loses power.

The batter has no face, the coach in the background has no mouth. Navigating is a pain. No amount of motion smoothing seems to help.

Blame your xbox, nvidia shield (recommending you contact microsoft or nvidia), hdmi cable. This is a well documented flaw with flicking and blackouts and you can see these on some youtube reviews out there. Dolby dark can't be modified.

Price

The specs on this thing is excellent and for that price, i couldn't be happier.

Program features and options are lacking some compared to my last samsung, but the cost saving had to go somewhere.

Device: hisense uled premium 65u8g qled series 65-inch android 4k smart tv.

Packaging/appearance

The 50% of the time it fails there is no 'input type' indication (led) on the soundbar.

Their should be a color led on the soundbar showing that earc was selected by the tv.

Competitiveness

The only other tvs we have are fire tvs though so i am not sure how this compares to other qled tvs but i love it.

Works great at 120hz with ps5 compatible games.

No way to tell if other earc setups have this or other issues.

I have never seen duch detail even over and above my prior models.
