Great book. Links history to a lot of geographical factors. I love how i can piece together everything that happens at every moment in time without going into unmanageable depth.

I have always tried to get into history through youtube channels like oversimplified and history matters but i always found i lost interest even though the videos were high quality and engaging

This is not the kind of book you would buy if you wanted lots of detailed information about a specific historical event it is much more broad and gives you a base knowledge of key points in history
