The base was * down on my unit, not mentioned in the directions. Buy this point the unit was damaged, then discarded. It's quite sad that because of a * battery i will have to throw out an otherwise fine bluetooth speaker.

My battery fit great and came ~1/4 charged according to jambox voice lady (janbox, as i call her), so you can test it immediately.

For months, a sinking feeling of dread would set it in as my faithful friend and partner jawbone, was losing stamina day by day.

Should have done this months ago; a $30 tune-up is well worth the sound this speaker puts out.

Shipping

Ordered this battery pack yesterday and got it about an hour ago.

Haven't gotten time to test out the battery duration but headed on vacation next week so that should give me ample opportunity to find out.

Not a common/household/eyeglass screwdriver like i had assumed/hoped (did not have the patience to wait for 2-day prime shipping).

Competitiveness

4 stars because i had to make a special trip (during freaking covid, no less) to lowe's for that dumb torx t6 screwdriver.
