Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The bulbs give a beautiful hue that is not yellow anymore but are still not overbearingly bright. The temperature color still seems cooler even though its spec'd at 2700k (see pic at low dimmer setting) as you can see in the first picture the light is...  Read More

We have an old 10 year dimmer and it worked well with the lights, having no issues. Perfect for a brass chandelier. Dimming isn't consistently flicker free but there's no humming.

At 6 cents per kwh these bulbs will pay for themselves in a little over a year. All the small globes are 2700 -3000 k, tungsten yellow, and tend to equal 60 w or 75 w incandescents. Replaced incandescent bulbs with these.

Quality

Sunlight color consistent, even at reduced voltage levels.

The bulbs are well made and the color and brightness are identical to an incandescent bulb.

The current incandescent bulbs were drawing over 600 watts and the light switch was warm to the touch when the lamp was in use ...  Read More

I have been hunting for a couple of months for globe-shaped 5000 k low-wattage candelabra bulbs, preferably frosted.

Price

These bulbs seemed the most reasonably priced among what amazon had to offer, and i like that they have a warm light, not cold or harsh.

They don't seem to exist at affordable prices.

I figure at 6 cents per kwh these bulbs will pay for themselves in a little over a year.

Way cheaper than the ones at home depot, love them

Shipping

Quick delivery and packaged well so nothing was damaged.

I contacted the vendor and sent a replacement within two days.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was also great, with a plastic scuff guard for each bulb to prevent scuffs and scratches during shipping.

Very impressed with hizashi's packaging (each bulb individually wrapped and in a strong box).

Each is protected with plastic case then placed in separate spots in box

These small chandelier base bulbs come in a pack of 6.

Competitiveness

This picture shows the old last four incandescent bulbs (2700k) compared to the new ones (5000k) by hizashi.
